- En the year of 2000 the city of Albuquerque approved a bill where any provided state funds do not will be used to identify nor imprison an immigrant only because its immigration status.
- The Police Department of the City of Albuquerque (APD) has an internal rule that has to be follow by its officers to not execute on duty the federal civil law for immigrants.
- On the year of 2004 the city of Albuquerque approved a bill (projected by Enlace Comunitario) in the case that neither the state police nor the local execute the federal civil law for immigrants, neither accept any additional budget for this issue.
